Queens MBA business School is located in the University of Queen Queen in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. The school offers undergraduate and graduate students, as part of Queen's University, but is managed separately with its own dean and budget. Business school has become its own right in 1963 with its first dean, Lawrence McPherson. The current Dean of the School of Business DRP. David Saunders of the Queen, who also founded the MBA program in Queens MBA Tokyo Japan where he was Dean of the Faculty of Management of McGill University in Montreal. The oldest and most prestigious undergraduate Department of Business program of the Queen of Canada, founded in 1919. Since 2006, the MBA School of Business Queen was evaluated by Week number one internationally, Queens MBA outside the United States. School of Business Queen is fully accredited by the CABS ( USA) and FEM. ( SQUISH ) (Europe).
The business program is the undergraduate program of the USB. It is known for its reputation as the most prestigious program of undergraduate business in Canada and the highly selective admission process. Students are selected on the Queens MBA basis of academic excellence and outstanding participation in extracurricular activities. In 2012, the average input was 91.1 %, with 13.5% of students achieving an average income of more than 95 %. Queen Trade is a program of the first cycle of more selective at Queen's University and one of the most selective in Canada. Before 2010 Queens MBA, the admission rate has fluctuated in the range of 6% to 7 %, with about 300 students admitted per year. The program was expanded in 2010 to a larger class of approximately 450 students from 2011. For September 2013 entry,
USB Commerce Program received a record number of 5498 applications for 450 points figure, resulting in a rate of 8.1 % of income. In 2012, 96 % of graduates acquired Queens MBA quality jobs within 6 months of graduation. The average base salary (excluding signing bonus or other remuneration provided) was $ 52.510 / year, with a maximum base salary of $ 100,000. Students usually study for a semester abroad in one of the Queens MBA most prestigious schools of 95 partners in 35 countries worldwide, including HECK Paris, SHADES Business School, University of Anaheim,
Peking University the University of Hong Kong Science and Technology, Twisting University, national University of Singapore, and the Sass Business School Queens MBA. Instead of the exchange, the program also allows the study on Beaded International Study Centre (IBIS) at Hearthstones Castle in England. A third option is to do an internship at the Washington Center. The program welcomes Queens MBA Trade Company, which is the largest association of business students in Canada, and one of the largest in North America. Committees oversee 25 students and 14 conference competition cases, many of which used the pool of students in Canadian Queens MBA businesses and international students.
